In Mahogany Trinrose, Ercy learned how to use all ten levels of augmentation by practicing rock-throwing and catching with Uncle Sels. In The Channel's Exemption, Yone Farris similarly used Level Ten to push away a falling tree using up 100 times as much selyn as normal, but he was also able to use his Endowed abilities of psychokinesis to slow its fall first.

Can double a renSime's Kill rate --- hence resorting to the black market (unlicensed raiders), or using Gens caught in spring and fed all summer. Ordinary simes relish augmentation --- Pen ration doesn't allow him to operate at full efficiency very often. Klyd says it is perhaps similar to entran. Simes willl go to black market or raiding on their own if they can.
